Vassalli Giveaway Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Van Roli Limited, trading as Vassalli ("Vassalli", "we", "us" or "our").
2. Eligibility
Unless otherwise stated in the relevant giveaway post, entry is open to residents of New Zealand and Australia who are aged 18 years or over.
Employees of Van Roli Limited and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
Entrants must comply with these Terms & Conditions and any additional entry requirements stated in the relevant giveaway post.
3. Giveaway Period
The opening and closing date and time for each giveaway will be stated in the relevant giveaway post.
Entries received after the stated closing time will not be accepted.
All times stated are New Zealand time unless otherwise specified.
4. How to Enter
To enter, entrants must complete the entry requirements specified in the relevant Facebook or Instagram giveaway post during the giveaway period.
No purchase is necessary to enter unless expressly stated otherwise.
Only entries submitted in accordance with the stated entry requirements will be eligible.
Automated, bulk, fraudulent or otherwise improper entries may be disqualified.
5. Prize
The prize and its value will be stated in the relevant giveaway post.
Where the prize is a Vassalli gift card, the gift card will be issued electronically by email to the winner.
The prize gift card is provided free of charge as a promotional prize and is not purchased by the winner.
Unless otherwise stated, a prize gift card is valid for 6 months from its date of issue and is subject to the Vassalli Prize Gift Card Terms & Conditions.
The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
Vassalli reserves the right, where circumstances outside its reasonable control make it necessary, to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law.
6. Winner Selection
Unless otherwise stated in the giveaway post, the winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period.
The draw will take place within 5 business days after the giveaway closes.
Each eligible entry will have an equal opportunity of being selected, subject to any additional entry mechanics expressly stated in the giveaway post.
Vassalli's decision regarding eligibility and administration of the giveaway is final, subject to applicable law.
7. Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted by Vassalli through the Facebook or Instagram account used to enter the giveaway and may be asked to provide their name and email address for the purpose of issuing the prize.
Vassalli will never require a winner to provide payment or banking details in order to claim a Vassalli giveaway prize.
The winner must respond within 7 days of being contacted.
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 7 days, is found to be ineligible, or does not otherwise comply with these Terms & Conditions, Vassalli may select another eligible winner, subject to applicable law.
8. Delivery of Gift Card Prize
Where the prize is a Vassalli gift card, the gift card will be created following confirmation of the winner and sent electronically to the email address provided by the winner.
The gift card email will state the gift card code and applicable expiry information.
The winner is responsible for providing a valid and accurate email address.
9. Verification
Vassalli may request reasonable information necessary to verify an entrant's identity, age, country of residence or eligibility before awarding the prize.
If an entrant cannot reasonably establish their eligibility, Vassalli may disqualify the entry and select another winner.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with a giveaway will be used for the administration of the giveaway, verification of eligibility, contacting the winner and providing the prize.
Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with Vassalli's Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
Entering a giveaway does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive marketing communications from Vassalli.
11. Facebook and Instagram
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
By entering, entrants acknowledge that Facebook and Instagram are not responsible for the administration of the promotion or provision of the prize.
Entrants provide their information to Vassalli and not to Facebook or Instagram.
12. General
Vassalli reserves the right to disqualify an entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, or engages in conduct intended to manipulate or interfere with the fair operation of the giveaway.
If the giveaway cannot be conducted as reasonably anticipated because of circumstances outside Vassalli's reasonable control, Vassalli may modify, suspend or cancel the giveaway where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer right, guarantee, remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable New Zealand or Australian law.
By entering the giveaway, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional conditions stated in the relevant giveaway post.
Vassalli Prize Gift Card Terms & Conditions
1. Promotional Prize
The gift card is issued free of charge as a promotional prize and has not been purchased by the recipient.
2. Validity and Expiry
The gift card is valid for 6 months from its date of issue.
The applicable expiry date will be stated in the gift card email sent to the winner.
The gift card must be redeemed before the stated expiry date. Any unused balance remaining after the expiry date will be forfeited, subject to applicable law.
3. Where the Gift Card Can Be Used
The gift card is redeemable online through the official Vassalli website only.
It cannot be redeemed through Vassalli stockists, third-party retailers or any other website or store.
4. Using the Gift Card
The gift card may be used across multiple eligible purchases until its balance has been fully redeemed or the gift card expires, whichever occurs first.
If the value of an order exceeds the remaining gift card balance, the recipient may pay the difference using another payment method available at checkout.
The gift card cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash except where required by law.
The gift card cannot be used to purchase another Vassalli gift card.
5. Returns and Refunds
Items purchased using the gift card are subject to Vassalli's standard Returns Policy and applicable consumer law.
For an eligible change-of-mind return, any amount originally paid using the prize gift card will be returned as gift card or store credit and will not be refunded as cash.
For change-of-mind returns, return freight is at the recipient's expense. Original shipping charges and return freight costs will not be credited to the gift card.
Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy available in relation to faulty, damaged, incorrectly described or otherwise non-compliant goods under applicable consumer law.
6. Lost or Unauthorised Use
The recipient is responsible for keeping their gift card email and gift card code secure.
Vassalli is not responsible for a gift card code that is lost, deleted, disclosed to another person or used without the recipient's permission, except to the extent that responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
If a recipient believes their gift card code has been compromised, they should contact Vassalli as soon as possible.
7. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable New Zealand or Australian consumer protection law.
8. Issuer
Prize gift cards are issued by Van Roli Limited, trading as Vassalli.
